Portrait of Place : Copenhagen

Documentation of the everyday on my week long vacation to the charming city of Copenhagen, Denmark.

The following photos are a sequence of moments that my eye caught while walking around the charming city of Copenhagen on an eight day vacation.

My days were filled with walking around the different neighborhoods of the city, capturing the everyday. The architecture served as a lovely backdrop to the activities happening in and around the spaces.

The book is sectioned out by day. The colors of each section were inspired by my host family’s kitchen backslash. I asked the story behind the colors one night and learned that they selected and laid out the colored tiles themselves!

The photos are laid out chronologically to when I took them. The idea is that you can flip through the book quickly, as if watching stills from a movie.
